Our story
Two friends, thirty years, one basket
Anne and Lacy met in 1996 at a craft fair in Langley, BC, their tables side by side, one stringing beads and the other restoring old jewellery boxes. A shared love of Baltic amber turned into a friendship, and the friendship turned into Amber Basket.
Thirty years on, Anne still designs every piece of jewellery and Lacy still chooses every stone.

Why Amber Basket
Genuine Baltic amber
Every stone in our jewellery is natural Baltic amber. Where a colour has been enhanced, as cherry and green amber usually are, we say so on the product page.
Chosen by hand
We pick every stone and bead ourselves, looking for warmth, clarity and the little inclusions that make each piece one of a kind.
Wrapped with care
Every order is wrapped in kraft paper and twine, and gift wrap is always free. Add a note at checkout and we will tuck it inside.
